I'm off to 140's house in a few hours. I'll be cruising in around 5PM EST and
then we're heading to a 1/8th mile track. :nonono: Best we can do for now.

I was looking forward to beating the LX but it seems she tinkled herself
knowing I was coming. SVslOw to the rescue! Should be close there since the
cars head isn't ported. It'll make for a nice video, tons of pictures to come.

140's friend Todd will be there with his SVslOw as well as another one of our
friends, Kerry, with his SVslow. 3 SVslOws and a turbo LX kicking names and
taking ass all night. I'm aiming for a conservative 9.2 seconds. :shrug:

After the track we'll be installing my rebuilt 86 TC transmission and tackling
my 3" exhaust. 140 is going to be making the welds whilst I watch in despair.
It shold turn out nice especially in front of the rear passenger tire. Now all I have left is to mount this intercooler. Someday... :mad:

My 'vo has an LA3 (browntops,ACT), FM TC IC, Cone of course, ported e6, 3 inch exhaust w/ a turndown before the rear axle, fuel pump, no secondary pump, Bailey BOV, Kirban short throw shifter and arm, 20 lbs boost. Timing at straight 10 degree's. Still has the inline intake, but I love the torque of that thing so leaving it. Head hasn't been ported, Adjustable cam gear set at 4 degree's retard. Stock T3. Run's awesome, I've only staged and ran 3 times so the driver is the weak link.

Not taking the LX because it decided to blow it's waterpump gasket early AM yesterday, and I didn't have time yesterday to pull and replace it. Plus I need some new waterpump bolts I can torque to spec which I did not do with the old bolts. :bang:

Todd's SVO he just purchased only has 50k on it now, like driving a new car, but stock except for a cone and ported e6. He'll just have fun beating up on rice.

Kerry's SVO is nearly identical to mine but w/ a supercoupe IC and a T3/T4. However he just rebuilt his engine, finished it a couple day's ago. So he's going to be debugging it and depending on how it runs will depend on how much boost he runs.

Cro's LX has a ported head, ported e6, ported intakes, no IC yet, can't recall which computer he's running right now (he's been switching combo's), 16 psi, 85.5 SVO cam, and a 2.5 downpipe that's about 20 inches long serving as his exhaust, fuel pump & afpr, alum driveshaft, but the best thing is, he's got 4.10's, and for the 1/8th should be a real strength. And he's got real good experience, if you've ever been to his website you'll see he's has a very consistant fast r/t (.5xx) and 60'.

edit: Oh yeah...we are all running street tires. Mine are the best 'cause they are skinny, hard, cheap Firestones that came on the car! :nice: (I can light them up in third).

I have a fairly similar set-up but I still have a stock 90lph fuel pump.
I have a 255 walbro high press. sitting in the box and the kirban is already on the car. Is it possible that I'm running out of fuel and the A/F just isn't showing it?

By the way the best times so far were from the last trip. 9.682 and 9.708 both felt like Identical runs.

Our friend Todd ran in the 10's all night. Kerry popped an IC hose and
patched it up. He finally made a run with out the IC. He ran a 10. I
had the fastest time all night while 140 had the highest mph. The track
had a lot of rubber and as a result of my 4000rpm launches my clutch is
slipping. I did beat a Prelude (Oooooh!) and a Camaro though he ran a .3
faster than me I got him on the line. Everything else there was running 8's
and lower. None of us blew the welds off our intakes.

I have a tape with the second run but not the first and third.
140cilx has a tape with the second rund but not the first and third.
140cilx's wife and my girl showed up late and only got the 2nd race.
Then they left when we raced the last time.
