Self tuner guys (tweecer, pms, etc.) ? for ya...

Are any of you taking out timing as you go into 4th gear or 1:1 for auto guys? Have you noticed any improvement at the track? Thinking about doing this with my MSD timing retard and wanted some input. Thanks.

I've not run my 95 at the strip yet
so
I could not say anything about that part.

I do not now or have I ever tried to remove spark once its all in.
however
I have seen some say it can help

Thats the thing, some say yes, some say no. Guess thats why it's called test-n-tune huh.

Well, it's about a $100 for the electronics I'll need. If it doesn't work it won't be the first time I spent $$$ for nothing.

Anybody else w/ some insight on this???

Why would you want to pull timing? Just so you dont go through the revs as fast?
