I going to have to sell the car. I am thinking of throwing in a stock motor and tranny. Would you guys go through the troubles or would you just sell it as is. I dont think I would get 7.5k for the car whole but if I sold the car with a stock engine I could posibly get 3500 for the car, 2k for the motor and 2k and keep the tko600.

Whadya guys think???

sorry, i haven't been following your story ... is your car out of commission? how is the paint and interior?

sometimes parting it out ends up getting you more

It is a balance between work and $$....

A stock drivetrain and lower value will sell better, I am sure you can find someone to buy the engine especially if they can drive the car with it before it is pulled....

+2 on selling with a stock motor and tranny. The lower the price, the more people will bite. The average person does not understand the mods we make and will not pay for them. And most modders like us generally want to see specific mods. So you'd be looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack with all your mods installed. Especially in the current economy.

I haven't gotten any bites on my green GT yet, so I'm going to strip it down as well. Same problem.

Cars in good shape body wise, could use a fresh coat of paint. Interior is in great shape too. The motor is a 347 with a TFS package.
