sept 86 gt #8 wire

I have a sept 86 gt that has only 5500 . miles , I have just got it from the first owner a good friend who just let it sit in his garage , last driven in 1991. a pure time pice. The car has never had anything done to it but oil and freez . Now what i like to know is why does #8 spark plug wire is dated 1987 . could it have a 87 motor .

It doesn't have an 87 motor.

I woulnd't be too concerned with the date on the wires. They're long overdue for swap anyway. heh

Thanks , Is there a way to get a copy of the window sticker . yes on the pics. but I have to get my kid to show me how to post them.

You can have a window sticker made that "looks" authentic but it's very unlikely that a dealership will still have the origianl sticker lying around in some file cabinet somewhere.

I thought I heard that there was a data base for the sticker.

I haven't heard that one. I know that there are a couple outfits that make clone stickers. I think there are even a few member here on SN that do that.
