This is probably a really lame question, but how do I reset the "needs service soon" light on the cluster w/o going to the dealer?

It is free at most Autozone or Pep Boys automotive parts stores.

yank the a battery terminal for 30 min and press the brake to get any excess power out of the system and then reconnect
