So I was driving along and all of a sudden my SES light comes on. (I have the stock h-pipe) Then I came home, reset the battery and started the car, and no more SES light. What was this all about? I almost thought it was my Magnapacks causing the computer to throw a code because of the reduced backpressure on a stock engine. Should I take it to the dealer the next time it comes on? Could this be the aftermath of my 40 mph rear-end collision? (The car is fixed now but the body shop could've half-assed something)

No, just go to Autozone and get the code pulled, it might have been nothing. sometimes you'll get a misfire (nothing to worry about) once or twice and it'll trigger the SES. Next time try to find out what code it is before you delete it. Good luck.

What can cause a misfire? I got 3100 miles on it. To be exact, the light came on when I was crawling around in 1st gear looking for a parking space.

you cant pull a code now because of resetting the computer. unless it comes on again i wouldnt worry about it. if it comes on again go to Autozone or buy a generic OBD2 code scanner and get the code pulled. i know my dealer wanted $84 just to hook up the tool. Autozone pulls the codes for free, and if you buy your own scanner you will pay for it after a few times.
