my cousin has the shaker 500 in his v6 and he added the same hu as me, the alpine 9855 but wants to know can he connect rcas to the amp from his hu to make the stock subs work? also by any chance does anyone know where the stock amp is located?
You need to get Metra part# 70-5521 it will allow you to play the speakers and the subs with your new headunit. I just hooked up a Pioneer 860MP and all is good I can even adjust the sub level through my new headunit.
