I just got my car today and my first mods I want are exhaust, 4.10 gears, and a tri ax.

My main question is about something I have heard about called a shaker. It makes the car shake when you rev up. Anyone hear about this and know where to get it or if it is bad for the car?

The only Shaker system I've heard of is the ram air intake systems similar to the Mach 1's.

Here's the Mach 1 system: Mach 1 Shaker

Who in their right mind would spend $$$ or even want something that just shakes your car? That's rediculous

If you want to make a cheap system to shake your car just make a leak in your intake tube...may not go far, but it'll shake.

Ive heard about these things that shake when your CD players on to simulate subwoofers... ( Installed alot in older cars that the customer wants the trunk to shake alot and be loud for no reason) But other than that, what are you talking about?

Are these some kind of special cams that just cause a lot of vibration and no power differences?
