Grady - I've tried reclocking the MAF, and I don't think it did much. If I reset the PCM, isn't that taking a chance of the car loosing anything it has learned over the past few days? I tried emailing all over, and the earliest I heard that people were getting new Tweecers are in a few weeks. That usually means a few months.

Andy - I appreciate the help . I couldn't imagine working on my car like you do. My patience would be worn thin...

As of right now, I'm thinking I may take the car up to Kauffmans in PA to get a 3 program flip chip put in it. I'd love to get a Tweecer, but the shortage is forcing me to go somewhere else.

If you reset the pcm you will start all over as you have said. My thinking was that IF you had not tried the maf reclock thing that it would be best to reset the pcm after the maf reclock.

I would like to say that if you have the patience to learn about how the pcm works and try various things as you learn along the way, you won't believe how well behaved your car can be (even with all of those hot rod parts) by using the Tweecer.

It is also only fair to say that even though my results with my tune have gone beyond my expections +++ It did not happen in a day or two. It's taken some time & effort.

When I moved to the J4J1 cal file I would say about 85% of the drivability buga boos just went away. The other minor things were handled as my pcm knowledge grew.

definitely raise your idle

I wouldnt even try to make a big cam idle at 750 with stock computer

trust me I have run an e cam with no tuning for 3 years
each time it takes a week before it starts idleing right aqfter the batterry has been disconected. its a pain everytime the ground comes off

Grady - Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have a Tweecer R/T coming (should be here tomorrow), so I'm going to be picking some brains here shortly.

Snoozer - I've tried EVERYTHING. I've tried letting the car idle at 1200, and it will eventually find the idle, but as soon as it finds a steady idle and I rev it up again, it dies. I've even tried using the throttle stop screw on the passenger side of the TB in a sense keep the throttle open even at idle. Still no dice. The computer is pissed off, big time.
