Shelby GT 500

So after two years of waiting my Uncles Shelby GT 500 finally arrived. Its red with the white stripes. At 3k rpm there is a SVT logo that lights up in the tach to let him know the supercharger is ready. In 2nd gear that thing pulled and pulled and pulled so hard OMG I was in love. The car is a work of art. Ill try to take some pics.
With the windows up there is no road noise and the cabin is very quiet even at speed. No vibrations and swaying back and forth under boost...that is one well built car. He said he paid 6k over sticker which isnt bad.

The light is a shift light. It can be changed to what ever RPM you want, mines set at 6500.

Very good color choice, almost as good as Whit with Blue Stripes.

6500? how can that be if the rev limiter on those cars are 6250? did you have you rev limiter moved up to?

Heh, heh.....the supercharger was ready looooong before that my friend. As stated, it's a shift light.

I wish someone in my family besides me would get a cool car...

I saw my first gt500 just this week parked at a gas station for a few days (i think they also transport vehicles) It was a red convertible with the stripes deleted. It looked pretty sweet but honestly i think it looked kind of plain without the stripes.

6500? how can that be if the rev limiter on those cars are 6250?

Shift lights come on very early, way before redline. I swear my Cobra lights up at 1500
