B&M. Remember a shift kit is only advisable in a good transmission.

I want to get one for my FMX and install it when I pull the engine along with a 3k stall converter. Are those things easy to install for a beginner? DO they help much? My tranny's old but I seen Autozone has FMX's for 200 dollars after core charge, that might be the way to go if yours is old. IM guessing their tranny's are rebuilt.

Thanks,
Jim

B&M used to sell one but looks like they stopped

Installation should follow a THROUGH reading of the instructions. You should also change the ATF and filter as long as you are down there. You'll also need a large pan to drain the ATF. I use a large plastic one from Rubbermaid. The job can get messy (as in DIRTY) so be careful.

um... you might want to look at the AZ website again

the prices are from $463.99 to $488.99. PLUS a $200 core charge, so you have to shell out $700 until you return the old tranny and then get your $200 back. Yes it would be nice if the $200 core value came off the unit price but that is not quite the way it works. Sorry to rain on your parade bro!
