Shift light help

I just installed my autometer monster tach. Everything works but my shift light dont go on. I think I have it wired right.

Power- radio fuse
light- headlight fuse
tach- coil
ground-ground

Thats how I wired it. I set the shift light at a couple of different RPM's and I get nothing. Can I wire it a differnt way to get it to work or is my shift light defective?

is the shift light pluged in to the back of the tach....is it a pill type shiftlight....does it flash when you first turn on the ignition

Found the problem. Where the shiftlight clips into the tach there is 2 little fuses in the clip and one was not seated in the clip all the way. I snapped it all the way in and it now works. Thanks anyway.

I am wondering if mine is installed corectly...when I set the rpm it does not flash but when I am driving and get to the set rpm the light flashes The tach/shiftlight on my 04' cobra would flash whenever you first set your shift rpm point.

Mine didnt flash when I set it, it flashes when you start the car and when you get to the set shift point.
