Shifter bezel same for Auto as Manual?

I'm putting together the pieces for an AODE to T5 swap and was wondering if the shifter bezel needed to be changed. I know that you need the upper boot, but I wasn't sure if I could just buy the boot and have it work with the bezel from an automatic. I saw reference to a bezel/boot part from 50Resto but it was close to $200 as compared to a boot for about $50. Thanks.

The bezel is the same..I bought a boot off e-bay for $20 and used a aluminum trim ring to attach it to the bezel.I'll post a pic when my wife brings the car back....

Thanks. Is the trim ring something that you can get from Ford for hopefully not a rediculous amount of money?

No problem, the reason I knew they were there is because I'm actually doing a 5 speed swap too.....along with a v8 swap.

Awesome. Have you found a Tranny yet? I'm still trying to figure out the best place to get one and stick with the 94/95 T5 with the longer input shaft. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of options and it seems like anything out there has the risk of being old and worn. I was thinking about MPS but I haven't made the decision yet.
