Put the spring in T handle, slide button in (longside down I think)
Put T handle over shift lever and press button slowly till it drops on.
Check operation and thighten set screw.

The shifter bushings are an easy fix,
Don't know of a web site for it but the Ford manual has Nice Pictures.
