i'm having trouble with my c4. i can not get it to shift into park, i had an older gentlemen, who was a mechanic for like 45 years, tell that there is a fork inside the tranny that the linkage hooks to and sometimes if you park on a steep incline or shift into park while the car is still moving the fork will break and this will stop the car from shifting into park. right now i have to depend on the emergency brake to park and i hate that because all i do is worry. i have not had time to check the linkage but he says he would almostbet it is this fork inside the tranny
any one have this problem or any other suggestions
should i just pull the cruise-o-matic forget it and put in the T.C.I. built c4 i have with reverse manual valve body.
