i installed a steeda tri-ax and i lost the little plastic cap that snaps into the bottom of the shifter ball, if you guys know what i'm talking about. it snaps onto the ball underneath and rests in the little cup inside the tranny. i've been trying to find that part everywhere and can't seem to. does anyone have a part # for that or know anywhere i can pick one up?

I know what part you are talking about but I don't know how to help you ..sorry man..Call ford or goto oreillys etc..

yeah, you'd be surprised how little some of those parts guys know. i've been to 4 different dealerships trying to find that part and noone can come close to finding it. i guess i might have to try and find a tranny in a junkyard to get that part.
