I am attempting to install some shocks on my mustang and I can't figure out how you get the bolt off that is securing the top of the shock to the trunk. The shock just spins as I twist the bolt. Does anyone know of a good way to keep the shock from rotating so that I may take it off?
of vice grips & clamp the end of the shock. thatll keep it from spinning. what kind of shocks are u goin w/? i just got some lakewood 50/50s & there awesome.
Thanks for the help, I used vice grips and it worked. I bought the roush shocks and struts. I would give my opinion on them, but I haven't driven the car yet and I problem won't be doing an "spirited" driving until I get an alignment. Here is a pic of it lowered.
