Hey guys,

I finally got my car home to my parents for the weekend so I can do my shocks, struts and spring but there is one question that I need to have answered and it's about the alignment.

I was reading the do it yourself stuff and it says that after you install your springs you should give the car a couple days to settle before getting an alignment.

So here's the deal.

My concern is that I live 200km away from my place and after I install all the suspension gear I'm positive my alignment is going to be messed up pretty big.

How bad would it be to drive back to my place to allow the car a couple days to settle?

and should I be driving during those couple days even though the alignment is off?

How long until i notice uneven wear on my tires?

Thanks for the help.

You'll be fine. Just do it as soon as possible. I did mine about 2 weeks ago and had to drive 330miles to get back home. NO problems. Have fun!

Any idea what position to put the 4 bolt MM caster cambers at after install and before the alignment?

well, I already had the caster camber plates on the car when I made the update so I didn't move anything. I guess just make sure to adjust your camber by eyeballing the wheels as straight and perpendicular to the ground as you can.
