Short Block Suggestions

So I stretched a rod bolt on my stock motor .... what a surprise ...now I'm looking at getting a short block... I want close to 9:1 compression and it will have a single turbo (around a 76mm) setup and push about 20 psi. Normal will be about 8-10 psi for daily commutes, and with 93(and 2-3 gallons of 110 unleaded) i will run 20 psi. I am gettin the turbo setup done by STP of Savannah. Now I'm looking at a 4.6L Street Fighter Pro Street Short block with the girdle from CHP...I want the internals to handle 850 rwhp...I putting VT Stg 2 Full Port heads with VT Stg 2 Turbo cams on it. Cometic Gasket and full ARP Stud kit High Flo oil pump with billet gears etc.

Also saw MMR's 4.6 Rac Mod 1100 P/N 401100 and i liked it.

Since my block isn't functional right now I would like to have it in a resonable amount of time (6 weeks tops) VT's is 3-6 months wait... haven't contacted MPH... also open to other options. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Heads, cams, short block. But any info on CHP would be great guys thanks.

Concerns, suggestions, or options would be great!

Im planning a long-term single turbo build and that is the exact short block Im looking at. In fact, MMR is now offering longblocks. Im sure if you contacted them, they could build you an 1100 with Turbo in mind and throw on a set of their Stage 2 heads, and maybe some VT stage 2/3 blower cams? It would be pricey obviously, but man it would haul ass

So what's the word on the MMR short blocks??? Good bad any info would be great.

I would proababaly look at the MMR 900 based on price. If I got a warm and fuzzy feeling I would buy that. If not I would go with MPH.

they are probabaly all pretty good. the MMR price looks great on paper maybe try to see if there is any real difference between that and the MPH shortblock.
