im still curious if MGW would ever be willing to put the shifter up to the test in my car...

id guess id break the handle by the 3rd weekend out with it

I have the Billet Plus from Hurst... Its ok but if you like short throws dont get it. Good stops and a good pattern, just lengthy throws...

Has anyone tried the economy short throw from LRS? Saw their install video on youtube it looks like a solid well made piece.Price is right there too.....

<---installed Pro 5.0 after getting car years back....works great except for synchro issues in 3rd irregularly....

Doubt it,

I'd recommend MGW as well.

I've owned nothing but pro 5.0's, they're solid. I do want to try an mgw though.

I have ordered an MGW STS and will be installing it this week hopefully. It will probably be next week sometime before I'm able to drive the car but I'll post up a review thread once I get it installed and get some drive time with it.

After 150 miles on the new shifter, I am nothing but impressed! The shifter is solid and feels to be half the length of shift from stock. Thanks to everyone who gave their advice. Satisfied MGW owner here.

they are all good its just Pro5.0 is the better

MGW is a solid unit that I have yet to have a problem with. I've had a Pro 5.0 that was good as well but the quality was better with the MGW
