hey i was reading up in a summit catalogue today and i saw equal length headers and then shorties.. My question is, what is the differenece between the equal length and shorties, i know what long tubes are but ive never heard of the equal lengths...
Equal's are also a shorty style header, they just have all the same length tubes. The reg shorties are consider unequal length headers.
The Equal lengths will make maye 2-3 more hp but they can be more of a hassel with emissons tubes, plugs, etc due to the way the tubes are bent and shaped to make them all the same length.
The equal lengths are a pain to install, i think if you were going to go with them, might as well go with longtubes. But i'll let those with more experience chime in.
