should i have the flywheel turned

has anyone replaced the clutch without having the flywheel turned ?, and did it work out ok ?

A new clutch should have a new or resurfaced flywheel to mate to. Similar to a brake pad / new rotor.

Well every clutch that i've ever done i have never replaced or resurfaced a flywheel and never had a problem with em.

However I'm not saying that is smart or the right way to do it. Srothfuss is right it's like doing brake pads, if the rotor (flywheel) is warped your still going to have problems.

some people get away with it, some don't. I wouldn't chance it personally for 30-35 bucks.

I always do. I figure what is another $30. I only want to do this once......this time. But yeah you may be ok.
