I think im going to try to get this tomorrow. The dealer said it was bought by some 16 year old that his gma bought it for him and he's 19 now and traded it off for a lifted 4x4. been there done that. He said it looks absolutely perfect and it appears to still have the stock goodyears. Here is the linky and let me know if i should go buy it asap.

lol i dont know about that one. For some reason mustangs seem to be selling high over by st.louis for some reason. Normally i wouldnt get to go look, but with the hail and very hard rain yesterday i got the rest of the week off and getting paid to sit on my ass and do nothing. If i had a carfax account id look that up, but i have no $$$ in my old bank account and dont have my debit card number for my new one.

Don't be scared by the young previous owner. I bought mine with 33,000 miles (With the original license plate reading "Mr Puff" ). I found the high school I.D. in the trunk and the car is fine. As far as I can tell the car has never been run all that hard.

Besides how are you going to drive it?? I don't baby mine and it's just fine. If it's stock there isn't much you can do to ruin them in 12K miles.

Go get it!

I dont plan on driving it near as hard as i did my gt. It will be used for a couple months of driving 170 miles roundtrip daily on the interstate then it will be sitting quite a bit as i ride my gsxr. If all goes well, ill be the proud owner of a mach tomorrow.

Absolutely, if it passes your thorough inspection then BUY IT!

Gotta love the coveted "R" code in the VIN

The stock rims are still on it, they are one of the best Mustang rim designs EVER.

If the drivetrain and interior are really nice it will be mine. Paint is easily fixable for me since i go to school for autobody and my dad runs one. I read earlier that the mach's get the same gas mileage as the gt, is this true or should i really care since i get 8-12mpg right now? sorry for asking so many questions, i should know this stuff but its been awhile since ive been around mustangs

I think it will get about 12-14 in the city and 20-25 on the highway with normal to slightly spirited driving.

you will probably want to floor it more than you need to specially with that shaker hood....i test drove the same one as that and I LOVED THAT HOOD....but i didnt get approved for the whole amount they were asking (i think 22k)

but yea you will probably get ~10mpg in the city from revin it and flooring it soo much...i know i would

lol, i noticed that it says '6-spd manual' on the transmission section. Does it really have a t-56 or did the dealer make a mistake?

The Mach has the TR-3650 stock. No 6 speed unless he swapped it out. I see he did put the Cobra gauges in it, over the stock Mach1/Bullitt gauges.

I do like the mach 1 gauges, but it having cobra gauges wont turn me away from it. Hopefully it will be in better shape than the dsg mach i looked at today, it had hit curbs, horribly bad brakes, took all i had to push in the clutch, and had a bad throwout bearing whine. overall i gave it a 2 out of 10 for lack of care and abuse.
