Since im replacing the floorboard, and basicly am goign to have the whole car apart,,,
Would this be a good time to re wire the car? Im pretty good with electical, i installed my nitrous kit completly by myself including a bottle heater and the fuel pressure safety switches switch along with the fuel pump wiring...ive got i think 5 extra gaues along with a tach and indiglo gauges which i hooked up myself, .ive installed DOZENS of stereo systems fanging from just decks and speakers to full blown sub system with multiple amps and caps...but it was getting to be a PAIN in the ass to hook eveything up to that old ass fuse panal (and im sure im lucky it didnt burn down)
But just HOW hard would you say it is to do? There are some things that i WONT BE using like the AC and the heater....also did anyone get rid of their window washer pump and such? im thinking i wont need this..I keep hearing about the wiper motor? is it really that bad? .
I do plan on adding alot of other things, like putting the battery and starter solinoid in the trunk etc, electric fuel pump, power windows and locks etc autometer gauges in the dash
So would i be better off with a custom universal kit...or a mustang dedicated harness....i noticed painless dosent offer a mustang kit for the 70's
Does anyone make a harness jsut like the factory? are these more expensive?
