I know I dont have to but if I am changing my spark plugs should I change the spark plug wires as well? I bought the plugs but forgot all about the wires:nonono: Will it make much of a difference? I am thinking of gas mileage not performance since it is a Nissan not a stang.

With that little info, who can say.

Does it use a dizzy or is it direct ignition (coil packs)? Any aftermarket ignition components?
How many miles on the wires? Any spark leakage?

Your guess will be better than most of ours. Sounds like the wires are alright though (not like you cant swap them later).

Good luck.

I do not know the exact mileage that are on the plugs and wires, but I do know my gas mileage has gone down some and figured it might have something to do with me needing new plugs. I have only put 15k on the car but it has 139k and I do not know the last time the last owner replaced the plugs, but I figured I could do the wires later if needed.
