Thanks!

Using the wire cutting tool from SHR, the windows came out surprisingly easy.

They are attached using a 3M black adhesive applied with a caulking gun.

Did the install in my drive and it took maybe 2 1/2 hrs. Now I'm sure we could of done it ALOT faster if we weren't taking pics, drinking, and BS'n.

I think I want to go that route as well, stupid question but what is that under the back seat on the passenger side on the bottom with the connector going to it?

The Fuel Pump or Fuel Level sensor maybe? There's an identical one on the drivers side as well.

Awesome, awesome and awesome, I love that look on the S197s. I think the car should come from the factory like that and with the GT-500 wing. Looks more like the 65-66 fastback now, great job.

Do you have to take the window out with all side louvers or just these ones?

Most louvers are stick-on with adhesive tape and don't sit even close to flush.

I've only seen one other set of louvers that you have to remove the windows for and they are carbonfiber delete plates.

Actually while waiting on the louvers to arrive I thought about the removal of the interior and it possibly causing or advancing squeaks and or rattles once back in place so, no I didn’t remove a single thing. I put a towel in the back seat and went for it. The tint on the inside and tape on the outside let the glass come out nice and easy with very little clean up.
