Hee! Hee! Hee! Crotch Rocket Eater???? Unless it can run low 9.0 sec 1/4 miles and has a top end of over 195mph, kinda doubt it. Unless he could find a little 600 to pick on. Even then I'd be very very suprised.

That is Chris's Stang [ Mounted on Stangnet], that is definitely one of my favorite mustang prowling around Regina. I know he definitely has put alot of time, work and money into that car. I don't think it's really worth selling after all the work and money that has gone into it. Chris hasn't really spoken up at all lately and I don't know what is going on with his car, is it turbo'd now . Goodluck selling it, and hopefully the new owner takes car of it.

LOL...I've never seen a street bike run 9's @ 195mph in the 1/4...EVER!

Most bikes I've seen at the track are usually running 11's@120+mph. The bigger bikes like the 1000cc+ bikes are dipping into the 10's at 130mph+

I know a lot of cars that would smoke most bikes from a standing still or a roll. **** I even hung with a 750 in my car from a 100km roll.

Actually, I said low 9 sec 1/4's and have a top end of 195.[As in top speed] NOT 195 in the 1/4. Depending on the bike you seen trying to run at the track, most little 600 and the 1000's are made for racing on a circuit track and therefore are hard to launch if you can't drive. A good rider on a little Suzuki 600 will run 10.7@128mph. A Hayabusa or a ZX12R will run 9's at 145mph all day long. I've run a best of 9.31@151.33mph on my Kawasaki ZX12R , with just lower gearing, exhaust and strapping down front.
I wonder what that little 750 was, as only Suzuki makes a current 750, and it'll dip waaay into the 10's with a decent rider 10.39@135 according to my Motorcyclist mag I'm looking at. Any of the other bike makers stopped making the 750 years ago, at the time when they were still in production ,they were running low 11 sec 1/4's . if you don't beleive me, check out www.motorcylistonline.com and look up roadtests. MotorCyclist tests the Kawasaki ZX12R At the Track:
1/4-mile: 9.87 sec. @ 146.29 mph
0-60 mph: 2.97 sec.
0-100 mph: 5.54 sec.
Top-gear roll-on, 60-80 mph: 3.17 sec.
Fuel mileage (low/high/average): 27/36/31

Oh, one more thing, it depends on what bike and what year,allmost all of the little 600's made today will run into the 10's@130ish.and have "top speeds" of 155-165mph STOCK!!!. 5years ago they were only in the mid to high 11's .Saying "Oh, I've beat a bike before" really doesn't mean much unless you know what bike it was you raced. It would be like me saying "Ya, I raced a car before and it was slow!!!" What make of car you ask? "Oh, I don't know, it was red". it makes a BIG DIFERENCE depending on the bike.
It's the power to weight ratio thing. My bike, dynod 181rwhp, it wieghts 652lbs with me on it [SIR scales] 652lbs devided by 181rwhp= 3.6 lbs per HP. To get a 3000lbs car to have the same power to weight ratio, it would need a lot of HP. Most really fast cars are geared for the 1/4 only, gear a bike the same,[simply swap out the sprocket] and they really friggen scoot.Lucky for us car guys a lot of the bikes out there are owned by people who can't drive.Most people with really fast cars [in the 10's] have learned how to drive by the time they work their way up to a car that fast. Where as a lot of these bikes are owned by people with very little experience riding, let alone racing.

Tonight at our track there were two bikes running 8.8's. A blue ZX9 with Nitrous and a red and white CBR 929 with nitrous. Both street bikes. It was awesome! Both were trapping around 153-155 mph. Most of the other un-modded bikes were 10-11 seconds.

I have never seen a bike run that fast at the track...ever! I think the fastest bike I have ever seen was a turbocharged CBR1100 or something like that and he was running low 10's @ 138mph. Those numbers you see in the magazines are accomplished with professional riders at sea level under optimal conditions. I can show you a video of a turbocharged mustang beating a Hyabusa on Nitrous from a dead stop and smoking the bike all the way to 140+mph. The guy riding the bike is a very good rider as well. Take a look at this video, seeing is believing.

That Stang in the video really hauls *** I had a Honda XX, it's more of a Sport tourer than an all out sportbike. Nice bike though. The best et I could get out of it was 10.31@133mph I would think that XX with a turbo on it should trap better than 138mph, even with a bad driver, but Ah, one never knows. It allways makes me a little nervous running against a car in the next lane, incase he comes over into my lane and kills me. I guess if a bike went into my lane and hit me I'd still be just as dead,but it somehow doesn't bother me. So I allways prefer to race a car against another car, I just feel more comfortable.
