I thought my Torque convertewr was going out but someone told me if I smell the tranny fluid and it smells burned then the tranny is going bye bye.. But if it still smells the same and has metal in it then it's the torque convertor. just trying to get a gauge on how much I have to pay. when i drop this thing off next week.

Mine is acting like a slipping clutch.. You press the gas and you have to wait for the car to catch. Then your off!!! and if you come to a sudden stop you can feel the car eventually shift in to first so you can take off..

When was the last time the fluid changed? Mine was doing the same thing and I took it to have the whole system flushed and refilled. Hasn't done it since.
