silver rear end fluid

I had gears put in my car about 4 months ago, now i noticed its leaking form where it connects at the driveshaft soo i checked the fluid to see if it was low and the gear oil was silver and gritty...is my rear end screwed???

Def not good, time to pull the cover and see some carnage.

Call the shop that did the work 1st, they may warranty it.

Did you follow break in procedures, any clunking going on back their prior to?

What brand gears?

What kinda shop did the install?

it was all ford racing parts,...and a shop called DTS...drivetrain specialists did the install

ya i took it easy for a while...i dont think there is any clunking going on

Don't touch it!! Take it back to them and tell them that you noticed that you noticed that it was leaking. They should check it for you. When they do, they'll find some (prolly) jacked-up gears. If you can, try to be there, while they are working on it.
