Ok... so i head to orreily's auto parts... i buy five qz of mobile 1 synthetic and an oil filter.
I go home and drive the car onto some ramps, then i pop the hood and open the oil cap so that when i drain the oil it will drain freely. Then i get under the car and take off the bolt from the oil pan and hardly ANY oil came out at all. So then I take the oil filter off and about a half a quart comes out with it.
I then realize a lot of the oil is probably just at the back of the tank since i have it on the ramps tiled backwards (DUH!!
) So i went ahead and put the new oil filter on and put the bolt back in the oil pan. Then i put her in neutral and back it off the ramps; i go ahead and remove the bolt and still barely any oil comes out... i'm talking a couple table spoons. Now, given, i'm sure some old oil gets caught up in the new oil filter but not FIVE QUARTZ for god sakes...
When i pull out the dipstick it says oils almost full, so why isn't any coming out my oil pan???
I tried poking the dipstick inside the hole of the oil pan to maybe unclock something but it doesn't really help.
Wheres all my oil?? And why isn't it coming out??
