Simple question: Is nitrous forced induction?

Me and a friend were arguing whether nitrous is considered forced induction or not. I beleive forced induction is something that has to actually force more air into the motor not something that has a more combustable form. The only reason nitrous is compressed is to allow the liquid form to dilute with oxygen and turn into a vapor before it enteres a motor. Is nitrous considered forced induction? Who is right?

IMO I don't think so your not forcing air into the engine with nitrous. Your just adding extra o2 into the cylinders in vapor form.

With nitrous your not "All-Motor" anymore but your still not considered forced induction.
