My car came with a 165R15 86S metric tire. I am sure it was a pep boys special.

I have the MT ET fronts. Nice, light and thin! Had a wrench go through one at the track. Cant get the thing to stop leaking. Not good for the street.

i have the sportsman fronts and they are as good as a skinny could be on the street, i have no complaints about them. i didnt get the 165's cause i wanted a 26" tire and sometinhg dosent seem right about my car using a tire meant for a VW bug...

but anyways the sportsmans are awesome, they look great, like they mean buisness and with a 28 inch tire in the rear it really makes the car look mean.

Most guys run the 165R15. Great tire, hard to beat it. I have a few friends that run high 5s, low 6s (1/8 mile) with them.

I run them as well, never a issue.
