I read somewhere that SLP use to make a piece of pipe that you could replace your cats out with for their X Pipe. Is this true, and if it is does anyone know where I could find one.

this is true. slp dicontinued the production of them. i have been lookin for a year...no luck.

there were two places that were posted on this site about a month ago that still had them on their site. when i tried to orede them on the website it let me and i thought i had them. 3 days later the company called me and said they dont have them anymore ans the site had to be updated.

good luck. if you find them let me know!

Those things were impossible to find. All the sites i've looked at have stopped selling them.

Took me like half a year of searching to find them. Just gotta keep searching local listings and mustang boards for them used. I found mine on Ebay.

go to an exhaust shop and have them fab up a set. im a little bitter with slp tho lol.

off topic, but check this story out.

i ordered an slp midpipe for my exhaust setup(Pypes lts, Lm2) i wanted a catted setup, so i went SLP for their quality. the slp pipe is pretty long, its was about 5inches to long with the cats. SLP brand longtubes must not be that long! o well.. the search continues for a good catted pipe now!

yes it was about 4-5 inches to long. it was specific for lts; but SLP has a slip fit design for everything. the lts i have are based off a mac design so they dont use the slip fit. they would have needed to ad some exhaust couplers, chop sections out of the midpipe to get it to fit. so i just cut a deal with the owner of the shop and hes paying me the difference between the VRS o/r x and the slp catted. im going to have to get a bbk pipe if i want cats.
