save money,take it to a muffler shop and have them taken off and replaced with tubing and some tips.
Anyone using SLP's Loudmouth exhaust system? Or has anyone ever heard one of these systems. Contemplating order it for my car but was looking for some feedback from owners who are using it. To loud or not loud enough? How about interior noise? Any drone, etc....
$120 bucks local muffler shop with 3" tipsI bought mine at RPM outlet $314 free freight.
there is no baffle or "special" tubing used on the SLP's. I just had the muffler shop weld on some 3" tips, i kept them as a slip fit in case i ever wanted to reinstall the stockers later.Does it REALLY sound the same with just straight pipes, as compared to SLP's?
Edit: And can you have them sust cout off the stock tips and re-use them?
the stock mufflers are clamped on with a band clamp, and the pipes i had made we used a clamp to be able to remove them. The tips will be as cheap or as nice as you wanna spend.Kept the pipes as a slip fit, or the tips? Will they have tips that will look good?

Try flooring it when you go through a tunnel or underpass, it'll scare people+2
Thanks again man for the idea on another thread, cost me like $65 without tips and i think they sound like LM pipes.
It has definite drone though and an almost trailer park/monster truck sound, but when you step on it the sound is wonderful, except it attracts cops i have found. I can't even hear the tires over the pipes when doing donuts. Once one adds LTs and/or pulls the cats though i think it would be a bit much.
