I took my smog out of the car, so can I just cap the vacuum lines running to my upper intake? Also, Do any of those smog sensors need to get plugged into something or can I just leave them unplugged? Thanks.
no you can't becuasse one of those vacume lines powers your brakes, and you should keep your sensors becuase they help with tuning but if you just want to plug up the smog lines then go a day find a cap and some RTV
You can plug off the vaccum lines that go to the diverter valve, and you can leave the electrical plugs unpluged. Make sure to tie the plugs up so they don't get into something they shouldn't. You may get a check engine light for the O2 sensors if your exhaust is free flowing.
I should have been more clear, I didn't mean all the vacuum lines running to the upper intake, just the ones from the smog stuff. There is one vacuun tree with 4 lines, I think they are red, green, orange and white, that is what I was talking about. But now that I mention that I think two of those are from the EGR, anyone know which two?

I'm eventually getting a tweecer anyway, so I'll just do that. If I just block it off without rigging the pin to hold the plug what will happen? I'm assuming I'll get a CE light, but will anything else bad happen?
i don't understand why some people get check engine lights when they take away the smog, and some don't. i was one of the guys that got the ce light and it gets annoying and whenever people see it they ask me whats wrong with my car.
you can remove the fitting where the egr bolts to the fact. intake, and then cut the egr tube itself off and flip the steel piece over, if you so this the hole will be covered by another spot of the steel piece, and this will block off the egr hole, i did this but used some gasket material to ensure a leak free seal
