Smog Pump Idea?

Well, in preparation for my smog pump delete pulley that should be here tomorrow, I went ahead and ripped off all of the extra lines tonight, capped the vacuum lines, h-pipe line, and back of the heads. Anyways, after getting it all done I fired it up to make sure everything was OK with the smog pump still on the car with the belt still on it. Has anyone ever felt how much air that thing pushes? It's pretty amazing, and it is like a centrifugal supercharger to where the more RPM's it has, the more air it pushes. Anyways, my buddy and I said jokingly that we should put a line on the pump and redirect it into the air intake tube. Well, I don't think I am going to try it, but it did strike up some curiosity as to whether or not anyone has ever tried such a thing? I have absolutely no idea what a supercharger feels like when it blows air, but I will say the air coming out the smog pump is actually high pressured. Anyways, let me know if anyone has ever thought/tried the same thing or if I am just stupid, either way this could be an interesting thread... oh, and if this would work for free horsepower, I have the patent!

Of course its nothing like the performance of a supercharger, more like a ram air setup I would imagine. I never said 300 hp, heck it probably wouldn't amount to much at all, but it would be interesting. I read a CFM number on the bottom of the smog pump when I was under the car, but I can't remember what it is. I'll have to check that number in relation to the 1000 or so a supercharger makes.
