I have two different issues. The car recently started smoking in the engine bay. Smoke can be hard to track sometimes, but from what I can tell it seems to be coming from the intake area between the heads. My first thought was valve cover, so I pulled the upper intake and didn't see any indication of a leak. Any ideas as to what it might be?
Also what is the vacuum hose on the far drivers side upper intake. It's right on the corner and has a fitting that bolts directly into the upper. It leads nowhere now and runs being open, but if I plug the hose the car will die.
