I know it can be done on the later airbag cars.

Can it be done on an 87-89 tilt column? My car does not have cruise control, so the only electrical i need to worry about is the horn. Also, i'll be using an airbag delete, so i won't need to worry about that.

Will the wheel physically bolt to the column?

I like the feel of my '03's wheel...so i want one in my 5.0 too

From the looks of this pic, it does fit the tilt columns.

I bought a cheapo Sn95 wheel off ebay (ugly ass tan color and worn) but it was cheap and I want to see how it fits and what i need to do to get the horn working. When i got it setup, i'll buy a black wheel or an FR500 wheel and airbag delete

Do the sliding contacts pivot with the wheel?

I'm trying to remember but for the life of me I can't.

If not, you should be golden.

It may be a nusance if they do.

We need pics of the side to. I'm curious to know if there is going to be a large gap between the wheel and column.
