Sn95 Wheels On A 70

I know the adapter kits to do this are essentially 1" spacers all around to run 17x8. Would it work if you just ran a 1" spacer in the front using a 17x8 and a 17x10 in the rear with no spacer in the rear? I also see 2 types of kits. One is a spacer with lugs for the front and the a spacer with longer studs to go through it in the back and then kits that are just the spacers with studs all the way around. Not sure which is better but I would think spacers with the studs built in all the way around is, then you are not running very long studs in the back.

It probably would work since the issue with putting those wheels on classic mustangs is usually interference with the upper control arm.
