Sneaky State Patrol

I've heard about a WSP white F-body Camaro driving around, but never around the I-5 corridor....until today. It looks like a white 91 Z-28 with chrome aftermarket wheels. It didn't look like the windows were tinted, and there is nothing to make it stand out as a police car or even a possible police car. It passed me today on I-5 in Tacoma with lights and siren going...thankfully, it wasn't after me.

Yeah , that sucks. Your car is sick, I saw you on 90 a few weeks ago, heading east, you got off in Issaquah, and I kept heading east.

The WSP camaro I saw that was white - has tinted windows... aftermarket rims. Sneaky little....

Now when I was sitting a Brien Ford I chatted with a WSP K9 unit dude - he told me several officers where getting their private cars outfitted with the light bars.... HE was in there getting his SUV outfitted.

Hawaii does that, where the cops drive their own cars. It makes it almost impossible to spot them till its too late, cuz you dont know what to look for.... stangs, gnx, camaros, vettes, trucks, suv, etc....

Would be cool to stop some of the a-hole bmw drivers out there (not you scoob'), but would suck for the stoplight nationals too.

WSP has a dark green Explorer that hunts I-90 between Issaquah and Bellevue. It looks stock and has non-WSP plates. The only discerning feature is that it's always shiny, even when it's been raining for days. I've seen it with the lights flashing, having pulled people over on 90.

I think I've seen that green explorer. Personally I don't speed between Issaquah and Bellevue much. I've seen 6+ people pulled over all at once, all with their own WSP cars, on that stretch through Issaquah. I've got better stuff to do with my money than give it to the staters.

I've seen that same camaro out here on mtn hwy/#7 in graham. Tinted windows and lights ablaring. Last wk I saw a brown WSP F350 pulling folks over on canyon rd in tacoma. Wonder what the gas bill is on that thing

I was coming up through salem on I5 last week and saw a 06 white stang with black stripes that had someone pulled over. If he didn't have the lights on i would have never have seen them on the car.

2 cops took a new Challenger ( hemi ) out for a test drive and was pulled over buy our boys in blue doing 140 mph. the arresting officer had his gun drawn on the other 2 and all they did was hang their badge out the window and drive off. talking about a pissed off pig... he was hot...

I am sorry but I think I am going to have to raise the flag on this one.

There is just no way that this happened, and unless you can give me some sort of link to the story I just can't swallow it...sorry.

Vancouver now has two 400+hp WRX's that SPO built and they are basicly all highway and street racing break up cars as that sort of stuff here in the Couve is just getting out of control.

That's a Marion County Sheriff's patrol car, it almost nailed me on hiway 22 east of Salem. In my case they were using it to block the sight of a motorcycle cop holding a radar gun. Sneaky but they didn't get me!

Camaro and WRX State Patrol Cars

I've seen the Camaro several times on I-5 north between Lynwood and Everett,at first I thought it was a car pulled over to help someone out, until
I saw the Red & Blue flashing lights in the back window, It has real dark tinted windows, they looked illeagl to me!!, Also one of my son's friends
neighbor is a WSP and he drives a gray WRX that is pretty hot. I was shocked to see it in front of his house, it looks just like any you'd see
cruizing down the road! Watch Out!!! you never know if the car beside or behind you is a Cop!

I have seen him in this area too, and sniffing around Marysville with cars pulled over on i5....
