Death. Mustang is dead on my end.

Mustang+Snow+Traction Control F-up=broken control arm, two destroyed rims/tires, axle broken, and more.

Talk about weather costing me $4000 this morning. :( :nonono:

Sorry to hear that. Bummer for sure!!!!! Thanks to Ford's 0/72 offer(no trade in required), I was able to keep my Jetta(paid for) for all inclimate weather driving.

Back when I had my '00 GT, I drove it to work and it snowed halfway through my shift. It was only about 2", but I had a heck of a time just getting it across the flat parking lot!!! I got a ride home...

mustand + snow =

Thank god for a second auto / daily driver.

We got 4 to 5 inches this morning and it's still falling. Calling for 8-12 when it's over. Luckily, the stang stays asleep in the garage and I commute with the truck. I wouldn't have even tried to drive this morning if I had to use the stang.

I drive a van everyday, and the wife drives the new Mustang. If it's snowing, we will switch, cause the van is AWD. But the 90 stays in the garage allllllll the time. :)

I never had a problem with my Mustang in the winter and I live in Fargo, ND. They don't plow unless we get over 3 inches of snow. BTW, my car was also lowered and I didn't have snow tires or weight in the rear.

I finally picked up a second vehicle so the Mustang sleeps most of the year. 4x4 Explorer FTW

Yeah supercharged cars are not good in the snow or ice. So I was cruising down the street at about 20mph when I hit some ice, traction control locks up my tires, and I slid sideways. Now I'm not the most experienced driver when it comes to snow driving (I live in New Mexico) so I hit the curb.

After a few days at the local Ford they tell me $1500 worth of damage. Good thing I didnt have my new wheels on.
