With a brand new motor that comes with a 3 year warranty.

She's really purring like a kitten now. I've noticed better fuel economy and overall improved power delivery. Everything is just smoother and sounds better. I had a few other things replaced while they were doing the job:

-Third brake light replaced (was all scratched up and faded)
-Seatbelts untwisted and driver's side door bezel fixed (it was kinda loose)
-Throw-out bearing replaced (used to squeal all the time, now it's nice and quiet)
-New keyless entry remote (old one was hardly working)

All of these little things, along with the new motor, make her feel like a new car. I'm really happy with the work they did, and they gave me a good price (Walnut Creek Ford). I've been so glad to have her back.

A couple of other things: When the car was up on the lift today (inspecting it again just to make sure everything is still fine), I noticed the previous owner had installed KYB struts all around, and also added on some aftermarket subframe connectors (I knew it handled too well for a Mustang ).

Also, after having the car back for a few days, some lady in a newer 3-Series hit my car while I was in it, PARKED. She took the turn into her spot too wide and hit my rear bumper and rear quarter panel (driver's side). I called her insurance today with my estimate, and I should be paid soon. I will be replacing the bumper with a Terminator one. Should look really sexy. I'll have pics of it for sure.

Anyways, I was waiting to get my new camera (Samsung NV3) before I snapped some photos, so I took some today. She's a bit dusty from the pollen, but clean nonetheless:

And here's a picture of my little model Termi with my baby :

Hope you guys like the pics. I plan on purchasing a Steeda Tri-Ax short shifter, smoked front headlights, SLP Loudmouth I's and new tips when I get my tax return money. Should add a lot to the car. As for the summer, I'll be getting a Terminator front bumper w/ chin spoiler and possibly a Termi hood to go with it (hell, why not Termi sideskirts too?). I also want a Saleen S281 spoiler, as they're not too pricey and they look awesome. Plus, I don't want my car to be a Cobra clone. [face_tongue] As for wheels and tires, I'm most likely going with black Saleen 18s with new rubbers (275 front, 305 rear). There will be other mods to come that aren't so cosmetic (GEARS!), but I'm still figuring out if I want to aim for all motor or a blower of some sort. I have a feeling it will be the latter.

Anyways, hope this post was somewhat entertaining. Just thought I would fill those in who care.

Damn clean car man, I love black Stangs.

Glad its doing good now.

Same lady backed into my front bumper while I was at work, I went to go run her down but she took off like all hell. Stupid bitch. Anyway, mine was able to buff out, so I didnt get insurance involved.

Congrats! I have that same model Cobra on my desk... haha.

I don't know about the cobra bumper and mach 1 chin spoiler, I don't think they go too well together! I hope you reconsider...

I was under there for a while when installing the x-pipe, but the car was literally a few inches above my head so I couldn't see much.

You can thank the previous owner for that. But like I said, I'll be getting a different front bumper eventually.

And Epic, I'll be in Sac the weekend after next to see some family, so I'm hoping I can squeeze a cruise in there. I would love to see your car!
