so I have a '69 302

so I have a '69 302 in my '67

woot bored over so its a 308 and we're getting the heads milled, steel valve seats and all that jazz. I hope that was a good idea? '69 should be good ya? should i keep my ac or at least put in a lighter compressor?

A working A/c would be nice,but thats why you have cruiser and daily driver.

that was a perfect time to convert to a roller 5.0

I'm keeping mine with the clunky York compressor for the time being. My car came with both a worn out and rebuilt compressor, but the clutch bearing was toast(double race angular contact and a special size, $40 from a bearing house in Valencia). Being in L.A., you'll be glad you had it. If it works, use what you have and worry about a Sanden compressor conversion later.
