I have seen quite a few friends 01 and 02 LS1's with full bolt ons and cam only make anywhere from 400-430.deftsound said:

Same thing happened to my friend with an 00 cammed 400RWHP vette. We took off and I pulled out like 2-3 cars by mid 2nd gear (still spinning when I let off) lol. Then went from a 50ish roll just to see and we were dead even from 50-110 .
Im like you though, I mean it IS a kill...but I know my car wasnt faster, I just outdrove him. Its funny, according to the stop only guys in here you have a faster car I guess.
Races like we did show ALMOST no hint as to whos car is really faster...but they do make you feel good. Thats probably why everyone likes them

yea if he knew how to drive his car i would have and should have gotten slaughtered, but hell he instigated the race i just aggreed to it
