Yipes!! I was on last night but never checked in at all today till just a little while ago. When I 1st came in here I was all defuddled , I clicked out again as I thought I must have accidently went into the wrong forum area as there were no threads.
Must be pretty crappy for the Admins and mods trying to straighten things out and with everyone one b****ing.

Anyone else remember what happened to Corral.net a few years back. They fried a server and lost thousands of posts. I became a member here because of it. Glad they only lost a couple months of data.

I'm a database administrator. My last backup was 46 minutes ago. How the **** can you go 3 months, without a backup!!?

Oh well, maybe we all need a fresh start. I watch for the date the member joined not how much of a postwhore the member is.

A few days ago I had received a memo from a local computer store, it was about having a back up incase the server crashes. I'm thinking maybe tomorrow I'll dig around in the garbage can to see if I can find it
