Would brakes and suspension mods not be considered performance mods? Or were you just raggin on him?

I think people usually get GO FAST mods though so they actually have a reason for getting the bigger brakes

If you actually drive a mustang hard enough, it has plenty of power to benefit from bigger brakes though.....just depends on how important you think lap times are vs. 1/4 times.

hanz you need some more power mods. stop being such a firecrotch and get some h/c/i or a blower. Then you'll need the bigger brakes. Only reason I got my bigger brakes was in prep for the blower. I don't even think you have plans for that, do you?

i still dont care about power...all i really care about is my lap times improving......

Now with the brakes and the Hoosier race slicks on my second set of rims i can now brake later into the turn and have more grip to Hit the Apex

Cobra brakes + no ABS = lockup machine. I lockup all four with ABS disabled without even trying, eg. braking when letting off throttle prior to apex = slidey slide.

I have Cobra's in the front and the ABS and trac control disabled. I like how the brakes feel?

I have them all the way around. If you try to do an emergency stop the brakes lockup before you even have time to react and start pumping them - they simply grip too well in in a pedal to the metal condition.
