So I got the BFGs on today....and was disspointed with their performance. I was spinning like crazy....and then I noticed that my posi is burned. One wheel wonder. So THATS why the Nittos burned and burned..................mother****er. I'm assuming it went after I got the juice. It was fine before.

So I need a replacement. Think this will be okay an okay replacement?

Just get a new clutch packs to rebuild the rear. It will do the same thing and only costs around $50.

I'm sure if you look around you can find it a little bit cheaper but it will cure your problem.

That is the way that I would go. That way you can rebuild it using the 4 frictions vs the stock 3 frictions.

But to answer your question that T lock that you had in the first post is pretty much a drop in. You should still check all of the back lash and such but that is pretty much the same unit that is in the rear now.

Also if you use like a royal purple rear diff fluid you don't need the friction modifier as it is already included in the royal purple.

Have you seen the commercials about Social security that talk about ripping down the house to fix a clogged sink. That is pretty much what you are doing. You don't need an entire new differential you just need new clutches. It is a lot easier and cheaper to fix those clutches then replace the entire carrier.
