So, tonight at the track...I have questions..

I lost 2 10th's, and I think I know where...

Last year I was using 26.5x10.5x15 Hoosier pure slick...they're actually cascar truck series slicks that we had lying around, so we mounted them for fun...I went from a 14.5 to a 13.3...

This year, they were burnt up, so I bought Mickey Thompson ET Streets, 26.5x11.5x17 and bought 10.5 inch rims to match...I figured, hey, I'm dragging not oval racing, so well, better get some drag slicks...

Over the winter, I also put in a Tremec TKO-600 with a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter.

Between last track day, and this track day, I can't whatever I do break a 13.5

I did notice by my chalk mark, that my driver side mag, had spun about 4-6 inches inside the slick, and my right, about 3-4...

I tried my burnout , according to M/T tech advice...out of the waterbox...to do a medium to light burnout...but my brakes couldnt hold it, and naturally I spun like a twister off the line...once I got em in the water box, I could do a burnout, but against Mickey Thompson's advice...since they are a radial tire...

Now I'm tossed...

A. How to stop the wheel slip
B. Anyone else use M/T ET Streets in that size and what do you do for burnout?

I cant get my 60ft and 1/8th times back down

I'm running 267 HP to the wheels...

Hopefully I'll get some ideas from you fine fellows? (Any any ladies perhaps?)

Ya, was thinkin that, but I think I'll look for other ways before I spend more money on rims...maybe try different air pressures...hmmm

I started at 15, then 13, then 12..i might try 10 and see whats up...its drivin me crazy

Ya, my 13.3 was in sept or early Oct...this is july, much hotter....
I'm going to re-seat the rims and see if it helps...and run at 10psi...it's tough to heat em up like M/T told me out of the water ....mind you , the track isnt prepped at all on practice nights...
