first off, i never thought i'd be registering to a mustang forum, personally.. i've always been a fan of the fbody format. But with all that aside, i really do like this car

so yesterday my dad suprises me with a new car (i've been carless for a while) - It's a 1995 mustang gt 5-speed

anyway- on the back of this car it has two totally different badges. One being an SVT badge, the other being a indianapolis pace car badge. The engine is a normal 5.0SHO (or whatever it's called) Car sounds mean, it's also pretty damn quick-

mods i know about include- (who knows what else it has)

msd ignition
full exhaust (not sure brand or type)
underdrive pulley (or some kind of after market pulleys)
big fiberglass hood
and newer (2000 style) cobra rims (with fuggin 275 tires in the back)

like i said, this thing get's on it pretty damn nice.. so i know i'm nowhere close to 215hp.. but i just dont understand the SVT badges. Theres no cobra stuff anywhere, nothing in the owners manual.. i have no friggen clue. The pace car emblem also confuses me.. the car is also custom painted to some weird purple/blue metallic.

so, anyone know just wtf i have?

also, you think checking the vin would tell me anything? I'm pretty damn positive it's not a cobra (in any shape or form), so has svt ever done anything to non cobra cars?

ps- i'm new to all this, so any help is appreciated

Probably previous owner just slapped some badges on it. I saw a 92 lx 4cyl with a new SVT badge on the back truck lid and then a 5.0 badge on the left side and then a 4.6 on the other. I didnt know if i should of laugh or what. My best guess is you probably just have a regular 95GT
