I think the mirrors are styled nicely, look totally at home on the new-style Mustang, irregardless of what bin they came out of. And why would anybody with a life care whether the mirrors are shared with a truck, or the seats with a Mazda (which Ford owns anyhow) etc.etc...ANYWAYS? If it looks good, feels good, and IS good, I don't care if the part got swiped from a YUGO. Get over it.
yes but the f body mirrors werent as big and where shaped in line with the car. The f-150 is boxy and thats why it fits. imho it doesn't belong on this car
The crisply edged mirror seems right in-tune with the crisply edged Mustang bodystyle to me. And I don't see that mirror as being "boxy", it looks pretty aerodynamic. Besides, the Mustang is FAR from being some rounded-off jelly-bean. So why does it have to have jelly bean mirrors? To each his own, but I like the mirrors. They look more like they were designed for the Mustang, then borrowed by the F-series design team, than vice versa. At least they didn't mount them midway up the A-pillar ala ricer style. LOL
